Rabbi Yisrael New
Rabbi & Director
A proud native of Atlanta, Rabbi Yisrael New has returned to his hometown with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm, ready to make a meaningful impact within the CYP family.
Having cultivated a deep connection with the Jewish land during his studies in Israel, Rabbi Yisrael embarked on his journey to become a Rabbi, earning his Rabbinical Ordination at Machon Menachem in Boca Raton, FL. Driven by his passion for Jewish outreach, he dedicated himself to serving as the program coordinator of Chabad of Georgia and the director of Kosher Food and Wine Atlanta.
Now, Rabbi Yisrael is turning his lifelong dream into reality by establishing a vibrant Jewish community center catering to young professionals in Atlanta.
Affectionately known as "the Match Rabbi," Rabbi Yisrael has a knack for bringing together young adults and helping them build Jewish homes throughout Atlanta.
When he's not immersed in his rabbinical duties, Rabbi Yisrael enjoys staying active, whether it's playing pickleball or cheering on his beloved hometown Braves as they hit home runs.
